A group of Year 6 Kyrenia Students have graduated from Space Camp! The children spent three days at Space Camp in Izmir and took part in a full schedule of exciting and educational activities. They explored a range of simulators including the Zero Gravity wall and the Space Station Mobility Trainer as well as taking part in a Mars interactive tour! What an incredible experience for all the children involved!

We have a TechGirl!! Our very own Duru Dulger from Year 11 has been chosen to attend the highly selective TechGirls program in the United States this summer. Duru is only one of three students to be selected by the U.S. Embassy in Cyprus to attend this prestigious fully-funded program which aims to empower young women in the STEM fields. During this program, Duru will have the chance to attend lectures and workshops at a well-known U.S. university and participate in activities aimed at developing leadership and STEM skills. She will also have the opportunity to engage with prominent leaders and educators in the STEM fields while interacting with girls from 36 other countries. We wish her all the best on this challenging yet fun program!!
